The property covers more than 1100 hectares of land, 47 of which are specialised vineyards.
The predominant cultivation is the Sangiovese vine, the prevailing base for Chianti Classico wine. The composition of the soil, its slope, altitude, sun exposure, ventilation, the special microclimate and the selection of the grapes are key elements in the qualitative achievement of Villa a Sesta wines.
The newly built wine cellar, with its 5,000 square metres, represents the perfect fusion of innovation and tradition.
There are about 60 hectares of olive groves in which Correggiolo, Frantoio and Leccino, typical of the area, predominate.
